state-of-the-art interactivity---experiment

what the hell? it took me a little bit to figure out the navigability of this site. i poked around and found simple agendas that were posted online, nothing spectacular at first. then i came across the weird stuff with strange sounds and images, it reminded me of abstract art, an art form meant to convey feeling. i suppose that if this is what joshua was going for, then he did it very well.

but if he was just experimenting with flash for the hell of it and simply wanted to play around with color and motion, then it still is kind of successful. i am not one for absrtaction; i think it is a waste of my and everyone elses time veiwing it, but some of it i can tolerate... and Joshua's stuff i can tolerate; perhaps i can tolerate it because it's a digital medium... but that's simply speculation.

state of the art interactivity

i kind of like his ideas.. especially the one with "interactive music". i share his same creedences with"am i the only one that listens to music when they are surfing the internet?"... that hits me dead on. he seems to be a very simple, very boring guy living inside his own bubble of conent. he likes it his way and thinks everyone else is wrong. sounds to me like this guy has his head on straight. but the music and media marketing seems to hit close to home.
